I think that was the best party I've ever had. Much alcohol had by all.
Kissing practically everyone at midnight. Fireworks shot off the
balcony. (And no police showing up. Bonus!) Only two noise complaints.
(Well, one "official" noise complaint, but I can only assume that whoever
threw a fucking rock at my fucking sliding glass balcony
door was complaining about the noise, in their own special way.)
Absolutely no vomiting! And of course, the time-honored tradition of
going out to breakfast with the surviving stragglers the next morning and
waiting a ridiculous amount of time to get served. (We didn't come close
to breaking 1999's record, though. Three-and-a-half hours at the
Hurricane, that year.)
It was most excellent. I love you all.

Date: 2004-01-04 01:26 pm (UTC)So, my not being present brokle the chain, which must have broken the curse. Next year, it will be safe for all (for a this-is-Six's-party value of 'safe').
Or, I'll show, get horkingly drunk, and be left to get myself through it, since everyone will be too scared to help, in case they get the curse next :).

Date: 2004-01-03 10:06 pm (UTC)It was good to drop in, briefly. Next year NYE's a Friday -- maybe I can flee back up here for it, eh?
