So this Wednesday, December 10th, is my birthday. I have the day off.

People have been asking me what I want to do for my birthday, and I have to admit, I'm totally stumped.

I'm throwing the floor open to suggestions. Anyone?

Go north to Granite Falls and take the Mountain Loop highway until you can't drive anymore because the road's blocked with snow, then get out and... throw snow at undesirable persons.

Happy birthday in advance lest I forget... my final is on the 11th and I think I will be blind to everything that isn't contract law at that point. I'm already about 90% of the way there.

Alternately-take the time to do something you won't usually do because you consider it "touristy. Aquarium. Science Center and the IMAX. Burke Museum w/ a side trip to terrorize Guthrie Annex II...

(Actually, one of the most fun and yet exhausting things I've done was fly from NC to Seattle several years ago just to make my Mom breakfast in bed for birthday, spend the morning with her, grab some lunch, then fly back.)
