Considering my last post, this has been a remarkably social week for me.

Thank you so much, all of you who responded to said last post; it did help. I note that most of you suggested that I try to spend time with people I hadn't seen in a while; I strongly suspect that each of you who did meant I should spend time with you.

This means that, a.) My friends love me and miss me, which is wonderful to know, and b.) My friends are selfish and manipulative bastards, and I bless your little black hearts for it. *beams*

So, anyway, yeah, I got over my burgeoning misanthropy. I ...

... got together with windbourne on Monday night, and went to Uwajimaya and then hung out at the waterfront

... accepted ajka's kind offer to accompany her to see In Flagrante Gothicto at the Empty Space Theatre, which I adored, and then we went to Stella's afterward

... went to see Pirates of the Carribean with the usual suspects on Wednesday

... took treebyleaf to In Flagrante Gothicto on Thursday (which she hated, as it turns out; it can be so hard to tell what someone else will find funny), and then to Gasworks Park for a late-night stroll with an amazing view of the glowing skyline

... dropped by windbourne's work yesterday afternoon to drop off a mix-CD I made for her, and accompanied her to lunch

... drove retcon out to the Mercury last night, where I danced, and kissed a startling number of pretty girls.

Quite a week for someone who was so recently "thoroughly sick of people."

Tonight, I'll be seeing windbourne again -- remarkably, she's not sick of me yet -- so she can take me to see the first couple of films in The Cremaster Cycle. Should be fun.

I wouldn't be too surprised if this whirlwind of socialness drives me back into hermit mode before too long, but for the moment, I'm enjoying myself immensely.

I still want to talk jobness with you at some point at your convenience. As I mentioned, it's July, which means new fiscal year, which means new head count. :)
