Just three short sharp shocks for you this time:

TALES FROM CRYPTICON
For those of you in Seattle, next weekend (May 23-25) is the CRYPTICON HORROR CONVENTION at the Seattle Airport Doubletree Hotel. I've just been called in at the last minute to do a few panels on Saturday:
The Year in Horror - noon
Horror Films as Modern, Dark Fairy Tales - 9:30PM
We Love Them, We Hate Them, But What Horror Films are the Best? - 10:30PM
You should come by the con and see me. Check out their website at:

CASTING THE FIRST STONE
If you frequent coffee shops, bookstores, and other such dens of iniquity here in Seattle, you might also be familiar with one of our more, ahh, *alternative* alternative papers, the SEATTLE SINNER.
If you pick up a copy of the May issue, there's a short review of my anthology, COUNTING FROM TEN, in the Entertainment section.
They don't have the review up on their website (yet?), but their address is:
http://www.theseattlesinner.com/

HOW THE DOCTOR CHANGED MY LIFE
"The schoolboy whose twin brother vanished in the night. A woman whose house teems with alien refugees. The dad who dies every evening... "
You may remember from my October 2007 update that I have a short story, in an upcoming DOCTOR WHO anthology, entitled "HOW THE DOCTOR CHANGED MY LIFE".
I can now announce the title of my story -- "RELATIVITY." The book now has a release date -- September 2008 -- and is available for pre-order:

I would love to make it down for October, but lord knows if I'll have the money to. But yeah, definitely hit me up for my John Hancock, whether it be here or there.
