Hm. I'm trying to remmeber the Vulcan females I've seen. Not many. There was... was it T'Pal from the original? Matronly woman as I remember. Kristie Alley in one of the movies. Another one in Part III believe. None of them remind me of playmates. There was the romulan chick in VI, but she wasn't Vulcan. The only Vulcans I really remember from TNG are Spock and Sarek. I don't remember any from DS9 and none from Voyager excepting Tuvok, who was a pretty awful Vulcan in my opinion.
But I'm not a huge treker.
And here's another question: just because someone happens to be babe material does that invalidate her possibly being a good character?
On the other hand, I would freely agree with any comment that TPB behind trek these days are very concious that sex sells. 7 of 9 was all about that. Worst part is, it apparently worked.
