They're opening a TechShop location in Seattle.

They're an open-access workshop that makes a ton of amazing tools available to its members -- milling machines, lathes, welding tools and sheet metal working equipment, plastic working equipment, industrial sewing machines, a laser engraver .... And they have classes in how to use all this stuff too, natch. Memberships aren't cheap -- but they're a hell of a lot cheaper than buying all this stuff yourself would be.
