Introductions.
Jan. 16th, 2008 08:50 amThose of you who have become fans of the series since its revival might think that name rings a bell -- he's the one who wrote the Hugo-nominated "Father's Day" as well as this season's two parter, "Human Nature" and "The Family of Blood". But I've known the name since he wrote "Timewyrm: Revelation", "No Future", and the original "Human Nature" (which you can now read online) -- novels that first got me interested in Doctor Who as prose, that taught me the novels could be better than just cheap media tie-ins, who first made me want to get my own Doctor Who fiction published someday.
So yeah. That Paul Cornell. He's going to write the intro for the book my little story will be in, and he might even, you know -- read it.
If anyone needs me, I'll be in the corner, hyperventilating.
