Boom.

There's something so insanely gratifying about sitting down and writing a whole little story in one go, even one this short. Even more gratifying is the fact that it's an idea I came up with just last night around 2:00am when I couldn't sleep, and I've written it all out already. (I nearly got up and wrote it last night, but I was so wobbly when I tried, I just scribbled the idea down on a scrap of paper and went back to bed.)

This'll be my opening piece for my Halloween reading this year, I think. The Official Announcement and relevant details of which will come later, but for now, save the date: Wednesday, October 31st, 7pm-9pm.
