Casting.

Here's the character list for my fan film, along with who's playing what part, and the roles that are still uncast. (I'm posting this here instead of in [livejournal.com profile] dw_eleventhhour because I want as many people as possible to see it.)

_________

Archivist
Our alien menace. To be played by [livejournal.com profile] retcon. We'll need to figure out what we're doing for makeup, and I'll need someone to be in charge of his makeup. ([livejournal.com profile] windbourne? [livejournal.com profile] artvixn?)

Brodie
A physicist. To be played by [livejournal.com profile] ursako.

Castle
A manager. To be played by [livejournal.com profile] lokheed, schedule permitting.

Co-Worker
Another small part, with just a couple of lines. Needs to be a "techy" type.

The Doctor
My own humble self, natch.

Extras
Will need some extras for a conference room scene at a physics-lab-type corporation. If you'd like to be in this, but you can't act to save your life, we do need bodies.

Security Guard
Minor part. [livejournal.com profile] saheeb138 was willing, if not especially enthusiastic, to do this. If someone out there actually wanted this role, I don't think he'd be too upset to have someone else do it.

Jackson
A technician. To be played by [livejournal.com profile] georgmi.

Alien Leader
To be voiced by [livejournal.com profile] str1.

Nathan
A physicist. To be played by [livejournal.com profile] kespernorth.

Pryde
A physicist/entrepreneur. To be played by [livejournal.com profile] endorphan.

Rebecca
Nathan's wife. To be played by [livejournal.com profile] hetaera15.

Receptionist
This is going to be just a voice-over part, actually, so this could be done by anyone, anywhere, who could record their part and send me a halfway decent quality MP3.

Susan
The Doctor's companion. To be played by [livejournal.com profile] windbourne.

...How big a conference room?

No promises, but the TC has an interior (no windows to the outside to distract the actors, screw up the lighting, or tell the audience it isn't the time of day the script says it is) conference room. I just sent email asking our office manager if we can sneak in and use it an evening or two later this month.

We're a government installation, though, so the rules may be against it.

That sounds ideal. (Why do you ask how big, though? Is it tiny? It doesn't need to be very large .... )

I don't know if you have one of those newfangled cell-phone cameras, or can conveniently bring a digital camera to work, but if it would be at all convenient to snap a couple pics of it and mail them to me so I have some idea what kind of space it is, that would be more than awesome.

I ask how big because a meeting room looks kind of silly if it's significantly out of scale with the number of attendees; this room seats about twenty people around the central table, with probably as many chairs around the walls. If you can get at least ten people into the room, though, it shouldn't look too cavernous, plus there will be plenty of room for the cameraperson(s).

As it happens, I *do* have "one of those new-fangled cell-phone cameras", but I would no more use it to take a picture than I would use (M. tells me I should not finish this sentence. :) )

I'll haul my DSLR in to work and shoot a couple of frames. :)

Have pics. Having driver issue with work desktop/card reader. Will send pics from home. Assuming I remember.
