Oh. Ow. This broke me completely, and then put me back together, a bit. Especially the letter, and the typing, and the crossings-out and the unfinished sentences and the no capital letters...the realness of it hurts. Nice idea with the Mickey handover, and I loved that the not-so-positive things came through on the paper as well. all about the bittersweet. Extra points for there was something wrong and broken about the smile, and that entire scene. Beautiful.
